The product

A collection layer for crypto ownership

Wallets are excellent at showing balances, transactions, and asset lists. The Hold adds a collector experience: connect a supported Solana wallet, verify control, build your collection, discover eligible assets, earn XP and permanent achievements, compare progress, enter the optional Monthly XP contest, and trade supported assets.

Build your collection

Organize eligible assets into collections and categories, track completion, and see what is Active, Discovered, or still missing.

Earn and compare

Monthly XP reflects valid fee-qualified acquisition and lifecycle events. Achievements record permanent milestones. Monthly XP and Collection Count show different kinds of progress.

Trade in your wallet

Review supported Solana swaps in The Hold, then approve them in your wallet. The Hold does not take custody of your funds.

The Dex

Active ownership and collection history

Active

A collectible found in server-verified wallet holdings at the latest successful sync. Active ownership can satisfy a lifecycle bonus, but does not prove where the asset was acquired.

Discovered

A collectible recorded in verified collection history but not currently Active. Discovered status preserves collecting history without creating Monthly XP.

The Hold groups eligible catalog entries into themed collections and categories. Completion is based on unique collected entries—not portfolio value—and catalog membership can change as the supported catalog evolves.

Monthly XP

Acquisitions and lifecycle challenges

Monthly XP begins with an authoritative, fee-bearing The Hold acquisition receipt. Established acquisitions require $25.00 executed value; Live and At Risk acquisitions can earn lifecycle bonuses, while Graveyard opportunities begin at $1. External acquisitions remain visible but do not create contest XP.

Competition

Monthly XP is optional

Monthly Contest Participation is an explicit setting and starts off. A participating collector can compete for Top 5 placement—and any prize announced under applicable season terms—with either a public or private profile. If a private-profile collector opts in, the leaderboard shows only their username, rank, XP, qualifying activity count, and contest or winner status. Their profile remains closed.

Turning participation off removes the collector from active Monthly XP standings and eligibility for any announced season prize while preserving private XP and achievements.

Achievements and leaderboards

Permanent achievements

Achievements mark collection milestones and completed sets. They remain separate from Monthly XP, so later lifecycle or balance changes do not erase a previously earned milestone.

Two leaderboards

Monthly XP ranks opted-in participants by valid season events. Collection Count ranks eligible public collectors by unique verified Active entries.

Privacy

Control what becomes public

  • Public collector profiles are optional; private profiles are not publicly browsable.
  • Profile visibility and Monthly Contest Participation are independent choices.
  • Wallet addresses, exact balances, portfolio value, and private collection details are not intended for public profile or leaderboard display.
  • A private collector appears in Monthly XP only after explicitly opting in, using a limited contest identity.

Trading

Non-custodial Solana swaps

The Hold requests non-custodial Solana swaps through Jupiter's Meta-Aggregator. Jupiter builds and executes the order, and you approve the transaction presented by your wallet; The Hold does not possess your private keys or take custody of your funds.

The Hold currently requests a 0.50% integrator fee through Jupiter's referral mechanism on supported swaps. Network costs and execution outcomes depend on external conditions such as liquidity, slippage, congestion, and provider availability.

Direction

A richer way to collect

The Hold is building toward richer collection experiences, more social tools for collectors, expanded achievements and competitions, and broader ecosystem support over time. Direction can change; this is a product vision, not a promise that any particular feature or network will launch.
